For serial entrepreneurs Aaron and Shannen Bosco returning home to Rupert was like coming in from the cold.

The couple pulled up stakes to move to Kelowna in 2012 to care for their daughter. They sold Northwest Beverage and Vending Services, shutdown Shannen’s photography studio but kept Eco-Management their residential and business recycling company operating, which it does to this day. After Kelowna the next move was to Calgary where Aaron worked and completed his refrigeration training while Shannen operated a successful daycare in their home.

The couple’s newest venture, Frosty Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, was for sale and the couple saw it as another great opportunity. “Frosty’s was spammed across Kijiji,” says Aaron Bosco. “As soon as I saw it was for sale I phoned up (owner Steven) Tattersol and the rest is history. We’ve more than doubled since his last year in business.”

“Frosty was our opportunity to come home. Community Futures financed a little over a third of the business and helped secure funding for the difference,” Bosco explains.

Now Frosty runs with three full-time technicians and an A-list of commercial clients including Canfisco, Safeway and Save-On as well as a host of residential customers.
